Hobbies: sitting in his swing, playing with his Exersaucer, hanging out with mom and dad, playing with his baby gym, going on walks with Aspen and Easton, and listening to music

1. Were you married at the time? yes
2. What were your reactions when you found out you were pregnant? It was Valentine's Day, and I hadn't been feeling myself, so I decided to get a test and sure enough I was prego. I was so excited I almost tripped running down the hallway to tell Brian.
3. How old were you? 28
4.How did you find out? Took an at home pregnancy test.
5. Did you want to find out the sex? Ofcourse, there is no way I would have been able to wait, too much of a planner
6. Due date? October 16, 2008, Actual due date? September 20th
7. Did you deliver late or on time? 4 weeks early
8. Did you have morning sickness? yes, a little the first few months, just had to eat something when I got up, I had Cheerios on hand
9. What did you crave? Really anthing sweet or spicy
10. Who/what irritated you the most? I would have to agree with Rachel, my doctor when she told me I should start watching my weight, that and the heartburn
11. What was your first child's sex? a boy
12. How many pounds did you gain throughout pregnancy? Between 30-35 pounds , thanks to breastfeeding most of it has come off.
13. Did you have any complications during pregnancy? Placenta previa
14. Where did you give birth? Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO
15. How many hours were you in labor? Water broke at 11pm and he was here at 2am. Really fast labor and delivery, wouldn't recommend it...it was too fast for any meds
16. Who drove you to the hospital? Brian
17. Who watched? Brian
18. Was it natural or c-section? natural
19. Did you take medication to ease the pain? No Time, but I would have liked to have an epidural or just something to take the edge off
20. How much did your child weigh? 6 pounds, 8 ounces
21. Did your child have any complications? none, didn't even need oxygen

Too Cute For Words...

Here are some recent pictures of Grayson. I also wanted to let everyone know I survived the first week back to work. Grayson did great at daycare (hopefully that continues) and I really enjoyed being back to work. It helps that I can pick him up at 4 and have the rest of the afternoon and evening to play and hang out with him. This happens quite often...the "plug" as Brian would call it hanging slightly out of his mouth

Happy 2009!!!

Wow! I can't believe it is already 2009. I know I keep saying this, but time sure flies by. We had a wonderful Christmas break. Brian had two weeks off of work, so we had lots of fun hanging out with friends and family over the holidays. It's back to work on Monday for Brian and I...Yep I am finally heading back to work. I am not looking forward to dropping Grayson off at daycare for the first time. Brian is the one who gets the task of dropping him off, if it were me I am sure there would be tears. I just keep reminding myself that I only have a couple of months and then I have Spring Break and then I have Summer vacation to spend with him. Here are just a few pictures we took over our break.

These are all teachers I work with and we all had boys this year. Rachel & Tyler, Grayson & I, Jessica & Camden, and Amy, Rylan & Payton. We all got together since Jessica was in town from California...I miss her a bunch. It was great to see them all together and to see how big the boys have got.
