MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Grayson went to see Santa a few weekends ago...let's just say he wasn't a fan this year, maybe next year. What's funny is that when I went to see Santa, when I was one, I did the exact same thing...maybe its an age thing. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!

HALLOWEEN

Grayson was a tiger! He was so cute. He didn't mind the body part of his costume, but the minute we tried to put the head on, it was off in a flash.

This is a picture of our nieces, Abby and Ava. They were cupcakes.

The other day Grayson decided to crawl under the stool and push it around.

Playing with Newspaper

This is what happens when you leave the newspaper on the table. Grayson grabbed it and had a good old time... he had black smudges from head to toe.

Here we are at the Pumpkin Patch. We had lots of fun! It was a nice fall day. Grayson still isn't walking around but he was able to hold on to his wagon...next year he will be on the go

Grayson's One Year Old Pictures

So this weekend we went and had Grayson's picture taken, as well as a few family photos. Grayson did really well...so well that there were too many pictures to choose from. Here are some of my favorites.

Other big news...just yesterday Grayson had his first tooth push through...we have been waiting awhile for that. I shouldn't be surprised, Brian didn't get his first tooth until after he was a year.

Grayson's First Birthday

It's hard to believe that Grayson is 1! We had a party for him on Saturday the 19th, with friends and family. It was a blast and Grayson had a good time. On his actual birthday, the 20th, we actually had a pretty low key day. Grayson started to get a runny nose and wasn't in the best of moods that day, poor little guy. He must have partied too much the previous day.

Here are some pictures of him on the 20th: Here he is sitting in his wagon he got from Grandma and Grandpa Forington and Uncle Jason

I think it is the Cadillac of wagons if you ask me...I don't ever remember seeing wagons this fancy when I was growing up

Hanging out on his bean bag from mom and dad

At his party he barely ate any of his cake, so we decided to try a cupcake...and he loved it!

Now that's what I am talking about!

A good old mess!

At His Birthday party on the 19th:

Playing in his favorite cabinet
The theme for his party was a baseball theme...I had so much fun planning!

Grayson's 1st birthday cake...yes I actually made it all by myself

Grayson would have rather crawled around than open presents

I absolutely love this Bronco hat...it has little pompoms on the top...TOO CUTE!

Some video's of Grayson

Well Grayson is 11 months now...he has gone from barely crawling to almost walking in a matter of weeks. It's crazy to think he will be a year old in less then a month.

This is him pushing around his car...which he loves to do:

Grayson talking...more or less screaming...but its still fun to watch:

Grayson crawling and pulling himself up, he does this all over the house now:

Lake of the Ozarks

So every year we go down to Brian's Aunt and Uncle's house, down at the Lake of the Ozarks. It is one giant family reunion...this year there was about 40 people. It was fun to get everyone together. It was a first for Grayson, meeting that side of the family. Here are just a few pictures from the weekend.

He absolutely loved the water
He just floated around
I tried to give him a Mohawk
Aunt Map (Britt)
OK so there is this bar down at the lake called Big Dicks Halfway Inn (sorry but that is really the name) and they are famous for the minnow shot. It is a tradition that when someone turns 21 they go for a live minnow shot. So being that Britt just turned 21 we had to go...plus I hadn't done one
Here is some of the family that went along
OK so here are the minnows...so gross
Here is Brian with a minnow...he's done this before
After
Here is Britt's face after her shot with a minnow
and mine

Well here we go...

So we finally joined in on the blogging fun. Not sure exactly what I am doing, but I'll give it a try. Let's just say it is definitely a work in progress.
