Anniston's One Year Pics

So we took Anniston in for her one year old pictures. I had the grand plan of getting some picture of Grayson as well. However, he decided to act like a typical two year old and refused to take any. So needless to say these are all of Anniston.
So most of you know that Anniston is usually full of smiles. Do you think she had many today? Nope...not my child, not when it counts. She kept on making her "new" frowny face. It always amazes me how many pictures they take and how they can get any of them to turn out. So with that being said I will apologize first for all the pics. There was just too many to choose from.

Look Who Turned One!

So we celebrated Anniston's birthday this past weekend and it was a big hit by all, especially the birthday girl. It was an owl theme all around...from the plates, napkins, cupcakes, and even an owl pinata. Let's just say I had a fun time planning...except for when it came to decorating the cupcakes. Who knew it would be such a challenge peeling apart Oreo cookies and getting the icing to stick to one side...three bags of Oreos later...and we have owl eyes. Anyway it was still a fun time.
Anniston got so into opening presents...she "oohed and awed" the whole time. It was absolutely priceless. I have never seen a one year old get so excited about clothes and toys.
So Anniston wouldn't put on the crown, but Grayson had no problem flashing around some bling!
She is so close to walking...I give it till the end of the summer
Here are just some picture from the last month that I wanted to share.
Spaghetti anyone? She absolutely loves it!
What paper?...I'll just draw on my face.
So why wouldn't you put on your snow boots, all your snow hats and head outside to play in May?
and a snow shovel...

Almost 1! I can't believe it!

Anniston will be one at the end of May and that is just crazy to me. She changes everyday. She is now crawling and getting into everything. Trying to keep up with her brother. Which he isn't too fond of most of the time. His toys are now her toys and most of the time he isn't willing to share, but he is working on it. Grayson is just as busy as ever, he just finished up with his ice skate lessons, which he enjoyed most of the time. We had a few meltdowns here and there which is to be expected with a two year old. I think we may wait awhile before starting the next one. It was still fun to watch him skate. Here are some recent pics!
I absolutely love this smile!
I don't know what it is with him, but he loves to put stickers on his face

Never To Young To Start

Since the day Grayson was born Brian has been waiting for the day he could take Grayson out on the ice. Well, that day finally arrived and I am not sure who was more excited, Brian or Grayson? Brian bought him his first pair of hockey skates and a helmet to go with. We signed up for a parent tot class, so Brian gets to skate with Grayson every Saturday. They have had a few lessons so far and it is going well. Grayson looks forward to skate lessons and continues to improve each time.

Well here we go...

So we finally joined in on the blogging fun. Not sure exactly what I am doing, but I'll give it a try. Let's just say it is definitely a work in progress.
