Happy Father's Day

We went down to Brigit and Nate's house for a father's day BBQ. It was perfect weather to be outside. The kids had a good old time playing in the sprinkler. Grayson absolutely loves water! Ava and Grayson

Anniston Update:
Age: Three weeks
Weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz.
Height: 20 inches
Eating: Eats every 3 to 4 hours
Hobbies: Spends most of her time sleeping, but is awake more and more everyday
Sleeping: Depending on the day, wakes up around 3am to eat, back to sleep till around 6, awake for about an hour, takes a couple hour nap, up for lunch around 11, back down for a nap until about 3, has another bottle, awake for awhile, then it's back to sleep again...the day in the life of a three week old...must be rough.
Those early morning feeding are rough on mom and dad, but mostly on mom since I am the one who has to get up. Hopefully she will be like her brother and be done with those in about a month or so. Other than that things are going good. We have settled down in to some what of a routine and are enjoying every minute of the summer.

He was fine till we put her on his lap

Welcome home Anniston

Well we came home on Tuesday afternoon from the hospital. Things are going as well as to be expected. Big brother is doing pretty well with the transition, except for a few tantrums here and there. Oh the joy of having a two year old at home! Here are a few pictures from the past couple of days.

She Has Arrived! Welcome Anniston Morgan Lee!

She surprised us early this morning and arrived about 23 days ahead of her due date (same as Grayson). We had a great day yesterday hosting a baby shower with the Santangelo's for Jill and Mike Clark. Stacie started having contractions about 9:00pm. By about midnight we knew it was time to go to the hospital. And at 3:41am today we welcomed Anniston Morgan Lee to the world! 6 pounds 8 ounces, and 19 1/2 inches long. Labor and delivery were VERY fast (again), and both ladies made it through very well. Anniston spent the day in NICU as a precaution and was able to join us full time at around 7:00pm. We're trying to eat and trying to rest now. More pictures to come very soon!

New Goal:

try and update the blog at least once a month. Sorry it has been awhile. You think it is bad now wait till number two comes along, but then again it will be the summertime soon and I will have more time, hopefully. Here are just a few pictures from the past month and some of the babies room.
Spaghetti, what spaghetti?

Check out these safety glasses

Grayson favorite place to play and eat snack...my lovely, well organized, kitchen pantry. He has just stuffed his mouth with mini Oreos...he is definitely my child!

He barricaded himself in the stools all by himself.

It is definitely not done. I don't have anything hanging up on the walls, no curtains yet, and we are still waiting on the dresser, but I thought I would share what we have so far. Yes, it is very pink...
On the wall are pegs to hang things from...I am thinking we will hang the letters of her name, no we are not sharing...mom

Look what I can do!

Grayson is learning more new things everyday, including new words, using silverware, opening doors, and...how to go down his slide all by himself!

Well here we go...

So we finally joined in on the blogging fun. Not sure exactly what I am doing, but I'll give it a try. Let's just say it is definitely a work in progress.
