Spring Break

We did lots of fun things over Spring Break. Grayson got to stay at home with mom and dad all week long. We took him to the pool for the first time (he loved it), we went to the Denver Zoo, and we started trying solid foods (peas and apples mostly). Grayson also turned 6 months. He weighs around 14 pounds (5%)...just a little guy and his height is about 26 inches (10%).

Grayson Laughing at Six Months

So we finally got a video camera...six months too late...better late then never. Here is a video of Grayson laughing...you need to ignore the commentary...and the videographer (new video camera owner). When we hear his laugh it just makes us laugh, so hopefully you do the same. (Make sure to turn off the music before you play the video.)

Five Months Old

Grayson is a big fan of sticking his fingers in his mouth now and makes all kinds of sounds. I went a little overboard with pictures...sorry...haven't updated in awhile. Five months old...already. I haven't weighted him in awhile but he is probably close to 14 pounds

His new bouncy swing...he hasn't quite figured out how to bounce, but he likes standing in it.
Getting ready to go for our first hike, up by Horsetooth Reservoir

After our hike...all snug in his car seat with his own CSU hat...still a little big
Grayson and Uncle Jason (Stacie's brother)

Trying on Daddy's CSU hat

Grayson loves sleeping in his swing, he loves to bury his face in his blanket

We tried rice cereal ...didn't like it so much...but we will keep trying
This is a shot from our backyard after a frost, early morning...so pretty

Growing Up Way TOO Fast!!!

Just some recent pictures of the family He is starting to grab and focus on more things now
Look at those cheeks...his legs are starting to plump up a little too

What are these things on my feet?
Grayson's "White Trash Tee" from his Aunt Britt, it says Construction Worker and it is sleeveless. Had to put it on before he grew out of it.

He loves to stand up and look around...what a big boy!
Brian and I went to the CSU vs. CU Hockey game...CSU won of course. It was really our first date night out, since Grayson was born. Thanks Mike and Jill for watching the little guy.

Our niece Abby and Brian's sister Britt at her track meet in Colorado Springs at the Air Force Academy. Way to go Britt...she finished first for CSU!!!

Well here we go...

So we finally joined in on the blogging fun. Not sure exactly what I am doing, but I'll give it a try. Let's just say it is definitely a work in progress.
